Hunter x Hunter is a great series - I had been watching it on Netflix and wanted to have a permanent copy, so this box set of the entire series episodes 1-148 was a good deal. The Blu-ray format and English subtitles (it offers both Japanese and English language) are on-par with the quality on Netflix.

1999 is good in a lot of things (I do think 2011 is more accurate to the manga and I do prefer it, but I won't say 1999 is bad because I think it is elss accurate and just because I prefer it less. 1999 had some good things, and I do still love it.I just like 2011 and the manga more), but imo they did not understand Killua's character or his Hunters are specialized in a wide variety of fields, ranging from treasure hunting to cooking. They have access to otherwise unavailable funds and information that allow them to pursue their dreams and interests.
